UPCODE SRL ("we", "us") takes data deletion seriously. This page explains what data we hold, how long we keep it, how it is automatically deleted, and how to request manual deletion. It applies to Merchants who use the Lumi App.

The App does not collect personal data from your customers (End Users). The only data we store is your store's product catalogue (for generating discovery feeds), app configuration, and internal queue records. None of this data contains personal information about individuals.

Some data is deleted automatically without requiring any action from you:

• Index queue records (completed and failed jobs): Automatically expired after 7 days via database TTL. These records contain only technical metadata (shop domain, job status, cursor) and no personal data.

Other data (indexed products, app settings) is retained while the App is installed and cleaned up within 30 days of uninstall.

When a Merchant uninstalls the App from their Shopify store, the following occurs:

• Shopify sends an uninstall webhook to our systems.
• We queue deletion of all data associated with that shop: indexed products, app settings, and queue records.
• Deletion is completed within 30 days of receiving the uninstall webhook.
• Exception — legal records: Any records required to comply with applicable law are retained for the legally required period. Such records contain no personal data.

Important: Uninstalling the App permanently and irrecoverably deletes all indexed product data and app configuration from our systems. This action cannot be undone.

If you are a Merchant and wish to request deletion of your data before the automatic expiry, or wish to confirm deletion after uninstall:

• Email support@upcode.cc from the email associated with your Shopify store.
• Include your Shopify store domain in the request.
• Specify whether you want full deletion or deletion of a specific data category (e.g. only indexed products, only app settings).

We will respond and confirm deletion within 30 days.

The Lumi App does not collect, store, or process any personal data about your customers (End Users). End Users interact with your storefront directly. The App only reads your product catalogue via the Shopify Admin API; it does not interact with your customers or their data in any way.

If an End User believes their personal data has been affected by this App, please advise them to contact us at support@upcode.cc. In most cases their data is not held by us at all.

In addition to deletion, individuals in the EU/EEA, UK, and other jurisdictions with applicable data protection laws have additional rights including access, rectification, portability, and the right to object. See our full Privacy Policy for details.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. In Romania, this is the Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal (ANSPDCP).
